Connecting Islamabad & Chitral

At the heart of the partnership is a shared commitment to support regular air connectivity between Islamabad and Chitral five days a week, giving travelers greater accessibility, convenience and confidence when planning visits to the region.

The partnership is intended to go beyond a conventional commercial arrangement. Bejaan Resorts and South Air share a broader objective of helping position Chitral as a premier year-round tourism destination while improving the connectivity needed for sustainable tourism and regional economic development.

As the partnership develops, the two organizations intend to explore opportunities for future Chitral connectivity from Peshawar and Lahore, subject to operational, regulatory and market requirements.

A Shared Vision for Chitral

Chitral offers an extraordinary combination of natural beauty, cultural heritage, mountain landscapes and warm hospitality. Improved and more consistent air access can help unlock its tourism potential and create wider economic opportunities for local communities.

By bringing together South Air’s regional aviation ambitions and Bejaan Resorts’ investment in luxury, culturally rooted and eco-conscious hospitality, the partnership seeks to contribute to a stronger tourism ecosystem for Chitral.

Anwar Aman, Founder & Owner of Bejaan Resorts, said:

“Our vision has never been limited to building a resort. We want to help build Chitral as a destination. Reliable air connectivity is one of the most important foundations for achieving that vision. This partnership with South Air represents a meaningful step toward making Chitral more accessible to travelers from Pakistan and, ultimately, from around the world.”

Anwar Aman added:

“Tourism succeeds when the entire region succeeds. Better connectivity can support hotels, restaurants, tour operators, guides, artisans, small businesses and local communities throughout Chitral. We believe this partnership can become an important catalyst for responsible and sustainable tourism development.”

Chitral is one of Pakistan’s most remarkable destinations, and we look forward to working together to improve connectivity and help unlock its tourism potential.”

Looking Beyond the Resort

The partnership reflects a shared belief that improving access to Chitral can generate benefits far beyond the hospitality and aviation sectors. Increased tourism can support employment, entrepreneurship, local supply chains, cultural preservation and greater national and international awareness of Chitral.

The signing marks the beginning of a long-term strategic relationship, with an initial focus on five-day-a-week Islamabad-Chitral connectivity and a future vision that may include Peshawar-Chitral and Lahore-Chitral services.
